The Role of Stock Exchanges in Advancing Global Sustainability
Nandini Sukumar, Chief Executive of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), joins James Black, host of the Canadian Securities Exchange’s podcast, to discuss the role that stock exchanges play in advancing global sustainability.
Nandini explains how the WFE, which represents more than 250 exchanges and clearing houses worldwide, is working to unify industry standards on ESG reporting, transition finance and nature-related disclosures.
With more than 80 percent of member exchanges offering ESG-related products, sustainability is fundamental to the future of public markets. This conversation takes place ahead of the WFE Sustainability Conference (5 June, Singapore) and the Canadian Securities Exchange’s Summit on Responsible Investment (5 June, Kelowna, British Columbia).
