Welcome to the February edition of Focus.

This month, Terry Duffy, Chairman and CEO of CME Group, reflects on CME's record growth in 2024 and outlines the company's goals for 2025. In our second feature, Loui Anastasopoulos, CEO of the Toronto Stock Exchange and Global Head of Capital Formation at TMX Group, discusses the launch of the new Canada Climate Week Xchange initiative.

In addition, we hear from four participants of The World Federation of Exchanges Market Infrastructure Certificate (MIC) programme. Applications for the 2025 MIC cohort are open, and we advise prospective candidates to move fast as they will close as soon as all places are filled. See here for information and to apply.

As we move through the early weeks of 2025, Ittai Ben-Zeev, CEO of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, offers his thoughts on TASE's development and his outlook for 2025. Mazen Wathaifi, CEO of the Amman Stock Exchange, outlines the ASE's achievements in 2024 and what's on his radar this year.
