Investment funds number listed
In this article, we provide an overview of the number listed of investment funds on stock exchanges around the world.

At the end of Q2 2022 the total number of listed investment funds stood at 19,625, which represented a 3.8% decline on Q1 2022 and a more pronounced fall (-7.8%) compared to Q2 2021.
Regionally, the Americas accounted for 16% of the global number of listed investment funds, APAC for 7% and EMEA for the remaining 77%.

The quarter-on-quarter increase at the end of Q1 2022 was driven by the Americas region which went up 2.4%, while APAC and EMEA regions decreased 28.4% and 1.9%, respectively.
Year-on-year, we notice the same trend, with the Americas growing 14.2%, while APAC and EMEA regions falling 37.5% and 7.6%, respectively.
The exchanges that added to their number of listed investment funds the most year-on-year are: Shanghai Stock Exchange (27.2%), Bulgarian Stock Exchange (25%), Warsaw Stock Exchange (24.2%) and Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago (21%).
