Welcome to the first issue of Focus in 2020.

Each January the WFE runs a ‘Looking Ahead’ feature in Focus, with around a dozen CEOs and Chairs from around the world giving their viewpoints on the year ahead, for their business, country, and region.

This year, as we move into a new decade, we have renamed the section ‘The WFE’s 2020 Series’ and have taken a longer-term perspective, inviting our contributors to look ahead even further into the future. We are delighted to feature 13 leaders of our industry, as follows:

We are delighted to round off the year on the issue of market data, an important topic for the industry that creates it: the exchanges. We released a short animation designed to educate stakeholders on the importance of valuing stock market data correctly for users who profit from it.
